Project #21 – Create Short Film Rough Cut (Review)

Until I started doing sketches, I never realized how instrumental editing was to the overall end product of a film/video project.  The editor has just as much say in what story is told as the director and writer.

Luckily for the short film, we were able to capture a number of great scenes and images.  And while that makes my job a  little harder in terms of having to cut out incredible shots, it’s definitely preferable tot he alternative or not having enough shots.

I don’t want to share the film until it’s completely finished wtih music and everything, but I was able to complete the first cut to have others review.  I now have some great feedback to consider when going back through for the second time.
