The best month of the year has now passed (best in the sense of that’s when my birthday is, and it’s the only month that gets an extra day every four years; it’s not the best in terms of weather). But with March already here, let’s take a look at the goals:
1. Redefine 2009
February’s focus was to redefine my computer sit-e-ation. Here’s what I did.
2. 53 Weekly Projects Challenge
February had me finish the book Story, make a decision on drinking (and if you’re wondering I still haven’t drank), solved a Rubik’s cube, and super charged my computer.
3. Weekly Content Creation Challenge
This month saw 3 articles and a video in the Weekly Content Creation Roundup.
4. Establish 4 New Habits
I was incredibly close to not hitting snooze at all this month, but I cannot tell a lie (ok I can, but I won’t)–I hit it twice (once on a Saturday and once on a Tuesday). One more month to solidify this habit.
5. Improve My Taste
I had an interesting craving this month–on two different occasions I actually craved a salad for lunch. Not as like a side salad, but as the main course! That’s entirely new to me. The best new thing I tried this month was probably asparagus–you put enough butter on it and it’s not too shabby.
6. Publish a Book
No real progress here, though I continue to think of various ideas.
7. Get 100,000 views on YouTube
I’ve consciously made the decision to not focus on this one as much until I get further along on #8. I did buy a Mac this month which will hopefully make it easier for me to do video editing.
8. $10,000 in Supplemental Income
What IRS? No I didn’t make any money this month from a “pseudo-roommate”…
9. Get on a Harold Team
I am now a little more than half-way though my 401 class and have no idea if I’ll be asked to move on. I have a few key things to work on over the next 3 weeks, so here’s to having some kick-ass improv scenes.
10. Get 1-Rated at Work
Unfortunately one of my projects at work is at risk right now, which can make it harder to get a 1-rating, though not impossible.
So February is now in the books (I don’t know which books, but it’s there), and while I made some baby steps in some areas, I really need to get crack-a-lacking on the side-business. That’ll be the focus for March (in addition to the voice), so let’s see where we are then.
