It hardly seems like 61 days have come and gone in 200GREAT. While February is the shortest month of the year, this was definitely a productive month for me. Let’s check up on the year-long goals.
A Joke a Day. 61 jokes strong. My February favorites: the conductor, some bowling fun, and even a database joke.
Perform Comedy 53 times. February was a solid month. After only 1 performance in January, I was able to get back on track and perform 8 more times, putting me at 9 performances in 9 weeks.
Get over 100,000 views on YouTube. No progress here (unless my promo somehow gets over 100,000 views).
Publish an Article. The aforementioned “Yes And” article could be a good candidate for this. I’ll have to spend some time editing it and finding some potential outlets (sounds like a future project).
Break into Top 10 Internal Blogs at P&G. I’ve gotten a little more consistent with blog posts and am shooting for 2 a week. I’ll take a look at my ranking sometime this month and see how much work I have cut out.
Start a business. After what looked like a promising idea turned into too expensive of a venture, it’s back to the drawing board.
Have 13.5″ Guns. Despite taking off a week while in Cincinnati and being sick, I was able to get up to 13″.
Never hit Snooze. February didn’t work out so great for this one. Between giving myself the excuse of being sick, and some later nights thanks to being in the city that never sleeps, I’ve jumped up to hitting snooze 11 times.
Help Someone Achieve a Goal. Still not quite what I had in mind, but a friend has been staying in my apartment for the past few weeks as he tries to break into the New York modeling scene. I find it hard to classify this as help, however, since I am charging him (albeit deeply discounted) rent.
2 months out of the way and I feel pretty good about my progress. Save the lapse in hitting snooze, February was a good month. Now let’s focus on March.
