2-thousand-GREAT: April in Review

Holy crap, we are now 1/3rd of the way through 200GREAT. It’s the end of the month, which means it’s time to review the year-long goals.

1. 53 Weeks of Drewy Goodness. Whew, 18 weeks and 18 projects. April included me Improving my Style, had me Making Small Adjustments, allowed me to Ketchup again, get more integrated with Google Docs, and now take some Headshots.  Nothing big- but all productive.
2. A Joke a Day. 121 jokes in 121 days. Highlights from April: Baroque Back Mountain, the Window Cleaner, and today’s Penny for a Thought.
3. Perform Comedy 53 times. April simmered down just a little bit, but I’m now at 25 performances.  Almost halfway there in 4 months and only 2 away from surpassing last year’s total.
4. Get over 100,000 views on YouTube. Well, unfortunately I didn’t get any videos done in April.  I’ve worked on a few different ideas, and have even more interest from other people to actually do some stuff, but nothing has come to fruition yet.  I definitely need to get on that if I want to pass 100,000 views.
5. Publish an Article. I kind of got an internal article published at P&G, but that doesn’t count.
6. Break into Top 10 Internal Blogs at P&G. Another lull here, I really need to step it up in May.
7. Start a business. I have a few ideas brewing and even started writing my first eBook.  It’ll likely be “released” this month.
8. Have 13.5″ Guns. My lame excuse this month is that I got sick.  Still at 13″.
9. Never hit Snooze. The snooze button is the bane of my existence.  I suck at this.  I started a counter of the number of consecutive days I’ve made it w/o hitting snooze.  It’s currently at 0.
10. Help Someone Achieve a Goal. No progress here.

April just flew by.  With limited travel just to Columbus, I was actually in the city for the majority of it as well, which is good because NYC is starting to feel more and more comfortable.  But there’s still much to be done, namely taping a skit and learning how to beat the snooze-button demon.
