Even though I’ve already had one Thanksgiving dinner this year (last week in Cincinnati), this week’s task is to enjoy the holiday with friends in New York.
Success = a happy Turkey Day.
Fresh on the heels of going to the AIN Conference, I have a workshop this week for over 60 people at work in Cincinnati. This will be the largest workshop I’ve led by myself, and both my manager and 1-up manager will be present.
Success = A communication workshop successfully facilated at my work F2F.
This week I travel to the Applied Improvisation Network’s annual conference where I’ll be learning from like-minded people about the way they use improv in business and education.
In addition to attending the conference, I am also presenting how to use improv in 1on1 situations. Therefore this week’s task is to prepare and deliver the presentation to the AIN.
Success = Successfully delivered presentation at the AIN conference.
As I started working on the monthly review, I realized I haven’t found the right balance between working on the everyday things that I feel like I have to do, and getting some of the bigger goals completed. This week’s task is to really think about what I think I should be focusing on.
Success = An idea of where I should be focusing my efforts.
As I mentioned in my review of last week, this week is critical to 2 of my biggest projects of the year at work so I’ll be focusing on the job.
Success = Doing everything I need to do for my job.
